Phillips Pronto TSU9600

At this years CEDIA Expo Phillips introduced their new extra fancy remote control the Pronto TSU9600. The remote features a 3.7″ 640X480 VGA touch-screen display. It features a PC-base configuration wizard (I think is Windows-only… JUNK!). It also features compatibility with the Lutron RadioRA home automation system, (not Z-Wave like the Harmony 1000).

We wondered why the sales rep asked us to bend over the counter and bear down, however, we gained clarity when we saw the $1,300 price tag ball gag.

The staff of Champagne Buffet unanimously recommends the Logitech Harmony 1000 rather than the Pronto. Unless Phillips wants to send us a free one. The reviews on this blog are totally for sale.
